Fit notes

The shape of a good T-shirt.

Small differences in shoulder, sleeve and length change the entire silhouette.

Fit notes

Read the shoulder

A shoulder seam near the shoulder point usually creates a neater fit. A dropped seam creates a more relaxed silhouette. Neither is inherently better: choose the shape you want.

Compare width and length

Boxy tees are typically wider relative to their length. Oversized tees add room across several measurements. Measure a favourite T-shirt laid flat and compare it with the product's garment measurements when available.

Consider the fabric

Fabric weight affects drape. Heavier cotton tends to hold a more structured shape; lighter fabric often falls closer to the body. Check composition and care instructions rather than judging from a photograph alone.
